1.Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how Adaptiwe Technology DOO Niš, a limited liability company (društvo sa ograničenom odgovornošću) organized under the laws of the Republic of Serbia (company no. 22170996, tax identification number (PIB) 115530298), registered at Niš, Republic of Serbia, collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you use Vidscape at vidscape.aiand related services (the "Service").
Adaptiwe Technology is the controller of the personal data it collects about users of the Service. For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact us at adaptiwe.technology@gmail.com.
Payments are processed by our merchant of record, Paddle.com Market Limited (Paddle). Paddle collects and processes your payment and billing data as an independent controller under its own privacy policy. We do not receive or store your full card details.
2.Personal data we collect
We collect the following categories of personal data:
- Account data — such as your email address, name, and authentication credentials, when you create or sign in to an account.
- Content you submit — the URLs, brand assets, prompts and other inputs you provide, and the assets the Service generates for you.
- Usage and technical data — such as IP address, browser and device information, log data, pages visited, actions taken, and diagnostic data, collected automatically when you use the Service.
- Support communications — the content of messages you send us and related metadata.
- Billing metadata — a limited record of your plan and subscription status. Full payment details are collected and held by Paddle, not by us.
3.How and why we use your data
We use personal data for the following purposes and legal bases:
- To provide the Service — creating and managing your account, processing your inputs and delivering generated content (performance of a contract).
- Security and fraud prevention — protecting the Service, our users and ourselves against abuse, fraud and security threats (legitimate interests).
- Product improvement and analytics — understanding how the Service is used and improving its features and reliability (legitimate interests).
- Customer support — responding to your requests (performance of a contract / legitimate interests).
- Marketing — where you have opted in or where permitted, sending you product updates and offers (consent or legitimate interests); you can opt out at any time.
- Legal compliance — meeting our legal and regulatory obligations (legal obligation).
We do not use your Input or generated content to train our own foundation models. We may process it through third-party AI providers strictly to deliver the Service to you (see below).
4.Who we share data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with the following categories of recipients, under appropriate contractual safeguards:
- Service providers / subprocessors that help us run the Service, such as cloud hosting and database/storage providers, AI language- and image-generation providers, and error-monitoring and analytics tools. These providers process data on our behalf and only as instructed.
- Paddle (merchant of record) — Paddle.com Market Limited processes payments, subscription management, tax compliance and invoicing in connection with your purchases.
- Professional advisers — such as legal, accounting and audit advisers, where necessary.
- Authorities and other parties — where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety and property of Adaptiwe Technology, our users or the public; and to a successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition or reorganization.
5.International data transfers
We and our providers may process personal data in countries outside your own, including outside the Republic of Serbia, the European Economic Area (EEA) and the United Kingdom — for example, on servers located in the United States. Where personal data is transferred across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or an adequacy decision, as applicable.
6.Data retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy — typically for the life of your account and for a reasonable period afterwards — or for longer where required to comply with legal, tax or accounting obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it. Usage data is generally kept for shorter periods unless needed for security.
7.Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights over your personal data:
- access to the personal data we hold about you, and a copy of it;
- rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- erasure (deletion) of your data;
- restriction of, or objection to, certain processing;
- data portability;
- withdrawal of consent, where processing is based on consent; and
- the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
You can exercise these rights, including deleting your account, from your account settings or by emailing adaptiwe.technology@gmail.com. We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within one month, extendable where permitted). If you are in the EEA or UK, you may also complain to your local data protection authority; if you are in Serbia, you may contact the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection.
8.Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in, maintain your session, and protect against fraud. Where we use any non-essential analytics or preference cookies, we do so on the basis of your consent, and you can manage or withdraw that consent through your browser settings or any cookie controls we provide. Essential cookies cannot be disabled without affecting core functionality such as authentication.
9.Security
We use appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption of data in transit, access controls and least-privilege practices. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please keep your login credentials confidential.
10.Children
The Service is not directed to, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from, children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
11.Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Please review this page periodically.
12.Contact us
